SIERRA MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

To that end, the Sierra Music Scholarship offers financial aid to students of classical music who are involved in private study. Recipients are from Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties.
The Scholarship fund, managed by the Sonora Area Foundation, was established in 1998 and to date has made 67 awardes totaling $17,100 to students in the Tuolumne/Calaveras area. Recipients include instrumental and vocal students studying with local teachers.
